Got to say my recent experience with yankee candle about a product issue was a positive experience the issue was regards a tealight candles that burnt one of my tealight holders even though it was not a yankee candle product the communications with them over email was fantastic they were very professional with this issue even though it was not one of their product that i had expect the candle was a yankee candle they explained all about that they would recommend using only yankee candle with yankee candle holders only and not to use other type and as the holder was not a tested one by yankee candle they did apologise about the incident and as they explained as it was not an issue with their candle but with third party candle holder and as i good will gesture the offer me a free product as a way to compensate for the damaged product to which i was really happy how they responded to my issue and offered a good will gesture gift shows that they are willing to work with customers to resolve any issues we have and i am very grateful in how they did with a positive attitude as well as being very professional in how they conducted themselves over my issue even though the product was not one of their own i would recommend that if you have an issue with anything they will sort out the issue and go above and beyond as a company to resolve issue that any customer has and not make the customer feel as their opinions do not matter when in fact our opinions do matter to them all they want to do is help to resolve the matter in a reasonable time frame, I would like to say is thank you yankee candle in the way you handle my issue and resolved in a polite manner and professional attitude

I have been using Yankee candles/tealights/wax melts for over 15 years but have been very disappointed of late. After only burning about a third or less of the wax the wick has gone out and disappeared, the candles have a hollow burn (tunnelling) and don't really smell either!!!! On contacting Yankee I was the given the standard you didn't do the first burn for long enough, you can't burn a tea light to less than 1.5cm etc. However they did offer to send a free candle in (as a gesture of goodwill). We will see if this arrives.......
Awful data breeching company. Once they have your details, prepare to receive marketing emails for the rest of your days with no way out!
They are still sending me emails despite filling in two of their forms for data withdrawal rights, which I never gave in the first place. And every email has a broken unsubscribe link. Seriously avoid ever using them. They dont care about GDPR! Unethical company.
I ordered some advent calendars, have done for several years, very disappointed. The candles didn’t align with the openings so you had to completely rip apart the whole thing to get to them. As other reviewers have stated, the burn time is very short, not what I am used to. I left a review on the Yankee Candle website, standard response,”sorry you’re not happy, thanks for letting us know” etc. I used to class this company as high standard but I won’t be buying from them again. The wheels have come off somewhere.

I maybe one of the lucky ones - Lovely candles and value for money. No frills delivery - candles were all well packed. When I approached Customer Services, my requests got quickly dealt with. Thank you Yankeecandle.co.uk. Will buy from you again. Best.
Ordered 2 candles 2 weeks ago, the money left my account however I have received no order confirmation and still nothing to update me. Customer service have not responded. Feel like I’ve been robbed to be honest.
I used to love yankee candles/tealights but have been very disappointed with my recent purchase of tealights. After only burning about a third or less of the wax the wick has gone out and disappeared. On contacting yankee candle I was told you can't burn the lights to less than 1.5cm, the total height of the wax is only 1.6cm so in fact you get 1mm of burn time from their tealights !I was told the lights have now finished and I should throw them away so you pay all that money for a mm of burn time. This didn't used to be the case and they told me they have changed the design and the metal ring at the bottom of the wick extinguishes the candle. I wouldn't recommend the tealights any more, expensive for a small burn time and huge wastage of wax.
I was somewhat concerned about ordering having seen the large number of bad reviews, however I went ahead anyway and I'm glad I did.
The cost of their wax melts was the best around and my order arrived within a few days, all present and correct, and just before Christmas. Colour me happy.
I ordered a gift set, but when it arrived the Reed diffuser was missing. I contacted customer service and they closed my query without any help or communication. This is disgusting customer service, I haven't received what I've paid for and they won't help, Avoid this company!!!
Bought 2 candles on their website on the 29th November for my Mum's birthday (1st December) accepting that they may not arrive in time. The expected delivery time was 3-5 working days.
Alas, I am writing nearly a month from order date, still waiting on the candles arriving. In fact, when I checked earlier, they haven't even been dispatched or shipped yet.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!
Used to be a frequent customer, especially in the festive season. However, I will not be using this company again unless they sort this issue out ASAP.
I've always loved Yankee candles but those I've had recently have not burned evenly as they used to. I bought a large Christmas candle that smells lovely but unfortunately it has burnt unevenly and the wick is now so small that it barely has a flame this evening. It definitely won't last any longer than today which is such a shame as it's only about a third of the way down (in the middle that is!).
Has the manufacturing process changed, the large jars always used to be such value for money as they lasted for weeks but this has barely been a week?
Daughter bought me the boxed advent calendar, contains all the usual great smells...... BUT, beware all arthritis suffers, you can not get a lot of the candles out as they are packaged to tightly, I have to wait till family come to help me get them out.... won't buy this one again.... no thought given to disabilities
Ordered a personalised candle November 2020 and order cancelled for no reason. Ordered another this Christmas and been cancelled again and no reason given. Avoid!
Ordered five candles on their website. Three of them arrived broke and unusable. Had to contact the customer service 4 times and nothing happened! Very poor customer service! Will not buy again.
2/4 items in my original order was just cancelled without any way I’d be choosing two alternatives. Contact with customer services was very slow but they did reply after a week and rectified the situation. Could be better but overall, eventually happy.
Received an email stating that some of the items I had ordered and paid for where not available. Then less than a minute later received email stating that what items where available had been sent. No offer to cancel or replace items with alternatives. No response from so called customer service. Am not a happy customer as not acceptable customer service. I only order from them once a year and there is always some form of issue!
If I could give them zero I would. Ordered from their Black Friday deals for a friends birthday. Got email around 3 working days later to say order has been cancelled. Called support to ask why. Was told that they had called me. No one had asked why order was cancelled couldn’t tell me. Offered to order same again said no as she couldn’t guarantee it wouldn’t be cancelled again. Avoid this site and this company get your candles elsewhere.
What has happened to the advent calendars. Only 18 tea lights. Has Advent been shortened by 6 days. Won’t be buying these again.
The online service was quick and I received my order in 3 days so great this is a Christmas gift and the packaging is damaged so I am not sure how I am expected to give this as a gift so not great
